A Viral Underwater Portrait Session

The underwater photoshoot with Kat has been a memorable one.

Like everybody who first shows up at my underwater photoshoots, she was slightly nervous at first. It’s hard to imagine what to expect from such an unusual experience. But as soon as we started to pose underwater, we realized how much of a natural she was!

So it’s no wonder that the little sneak peek video Marcos prepared of her photoshoot went viral on TikTok!

Check it out below

Do I need to know how to swim to Shoot Underwater?

Kat told us that she was part of the swimming team of her high school back then, but you don’t need to be a strong swimmer to enroll in my photoshoots. Actually, you don’t need to be able to swim at all!

My team and I will always keep you safe and comfortable in the water. Before we jump in, I will give you a clear explanation of how we are going to work and TONS of tips on how to pose and look good underwater ;)

What should I wear for an Underwater Photoshoot?

Many clients ask me about props to use in my underwater photoshoots. I do have a big closet of dresses and skirts that work very well underwater, which are available to just borrow. So don’t worry, there is something for everyone to choose from!

I also offer flying dresses that create stunning movement and elegant silhouettes underwater. And if you prefer to bring your own outfit, I’ve created a detailed guide on what to wear for an underwater photoshoot to help you choose fabrics and colors that flow effortlessly in the water.

I do love how simple light fabrics give the extra touch of movement and color to a simple swimsuit. If you choose to use one of my fabrics, we’ll play a lot to create beautiful shapes with it!

What do you think, do you like how these underwater photos turned out?
