Nicole and James were thrilled to announce their pregnancy with an underwater photoshoot.

Great experience and very professional in taking our underwater maternity shoot. The team walked you thru above water, how to take pictures, which was critical to our shoot. Very patient and made the experience fun. I would highly recommend.

Adding Personal Touches with Meaningful Props

We embraced a creative approach by incorporating symbolic details into the session. Since Nicole and James were expecting a baby girl, we used soft pink petals and balloons to reflect that joyful news. If you’re planning your own maternity photoshoot, consider bringing items that represent your baby or your journey, thoughtful details like these make your images even more personal and memorable.

What to Wear for a Couple Underwater Maternity Photoshoot

Their outfits were a beautiful example of what works best for a couple underwater maternity photoshoot. Nicole chose a long, flowing dress that left her belly gracefully uncovered, allowing the fabric to move effortlessly in the water. James kept his look simple with an all-white outfit that complemented Nicole’s dress and created a striking contrast against the dark cenote background.

If you’re unsure what to wear for your own session, I share detailed tips in my guide on what to wear for an underwater photoshoot, including fabrics and colors that move beautifully underwater.

Flying Dresses for Underwater Maternity Photoshoots

I recently added flying dresses to my collection, and they’ve quickly become a favorite for underwater maternity photoshoots. Their long, flowing fabric creates beautiful movement in the water, and the adjustable design comfortably fits all body types and stages of pregnancy. My newest flying dresses’ colors, soft light pink and baby blue, are especially perfect for baby announcements, adding a delicate and elegant touch to your session. These dresses create a graceful, ethereal look that feels both intimate and unforgettable underwater.

Safety & Support During Your Underwater Session

An underwater maternity photoshoot is a unique and unforgettable experience, and while it may feel outside your comfort zone at first, you’ll never be alone. Every session is carefully guided so you feel calm, supported, and completely safe in the water.

We begin slowly, taking small, gentle steps until you feel comfortable. A dedicated safety assistant stays by your side at all times, ready to assist you immediately if needed. You’ll be gently towed through the cenote using a floating support, so you won’t need to exert much effort at all. My priority is always your safety, comfort, and peace of mind.
